Oral Presentation

Presentation and Discussion Time

  • Invited Lectures:
    30-40 minutes including 5-10 minutes discussion time.
  • Oral Presentations:
    20 minutes including 5 minutes discussion time.


The preferred formats are PowerPoint and Adobe PDF. Computers with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 will be available for the oral presentations.
The presentation file should be named using the Abstract Number and the presenter’s family name. (e.g., file name: O1-1 Asano)
When building your presentation, use standard fonts (e.g., Times Roman, Helvetica, Arial, New Times Roman), standard fonts are included on the session room PCs but if an unusual font is used it may not translate.

Slides Upload

Each session room computer will be equipped with USB ports. Please bring your presentation on a USB memory and submit it in the session room at least by the coffee break before your session. There will be a PC staff to support presentations in each session room.

If using a Macintosh laptop computer, please note that you need to supply your own and bring an adaptor to connect your PC to the Mini D-sub 15 pin PC cable connector


  • No preview or speaker room will be available.
  • No slide projection and overhead projection will be available.

Poster Presentation

The Poster Session will be held in the Foyer on the 3rd floor of the conference site.
Date & Time : 17:30-19:00, 17 & 18 December

Core Time

  • 17:30-18:30, 17 December: Poster presenters who allotted an odd number
  • 17:30-18:30, 18 December: Poster presenters who allotted an even number

Each poster board is 210 cm high (about 82.7 inches) and 120 cm wide (about 47.2 inches). Push pins will be provided to hang your poster.
These poster boards are made of composite materials, suitable for mounting presentations with push-pins, which will be available at the conference site. A sign of the Presentation Number will be set on each poster board by the secretariat.
Presenters are requested to stay at their posters during the poster session.
Each poster should be headed by the title of the paper, the names of the authors, and their affiliations.

Poster Setup

The posters may be mounted starting at 10 am on Wednesday, December 17. The posters must be taken down by 10:30 am on Friday, December 19. Posters left behind by presenters will be discarded.
